Gowfers Defeated By Bluebells

A goal midway through the first half by BLACKWOOD was enough to give Lochee United the lead going into half time at Laing Park, as he was on hand from 6 yards out to stab in a ball played across the face of the goal from the left hand side by Hagan.

BLACKWOOD was again at hand for Lochee to give the Bluebells a 0-2 lead as he latched onto a long ball over the top of the Carnoustie defence and made no mistake with his finish.

A cross from Russell was met by new signing KERRIGAN whose header ending up in the back of the net giving Carnoustie hope of getting back on level terms. Unfortunately for Carnoustie this was not to be the case and Lochee United held out for a 1-2 victory.
