Carnoustie Panmure travelled up to Montrose for a friendly match on Monday evening to give those players in need of match fitness, a run out against a Roselea team who always raise their game when the Gowfers visit.Roselea's team consisted of 4 ex-Gowfers, left back Dougie Craig, striker Ralph Brand (now Roselea manager), midfielder Steven Kerrigan and goalkeeper Ross McLeod.
Carnoustie took the lead through JAMES COLLIER after his head flick just inside the box, from an inswinging cross from the left from Aaron Conway, looped over the head of McLeod into the net.
Roselea caused the Panmure defence a few problems throughout the first half however were unable to take any chances that came their way. Their best chance was from a free kick on the edge of the box from Callum Watson, after he was fouled by Narey, however McCafferty brought off an excellent save, diving to his right and parrying the ball around the post and out for a corner.

The Gowfers made two changes at half time bringing on Sean Muhsin for Steven Cook and Jon Voigt for Steven Narey, both of whom reappeared later on in the match.Carnoustie extended their lead shortly after the break after a cross from the left from Jim Scott was only partially cleared by the Roselea defence and JON VOIGT lashed a left foot shot high into the net, giving McLeod no chance.
Further disappointment was to follow for Roselea when AARON CONWAY received a pass from the right hand side of the pitch, took it across his body, steaded himself and sent a left foot drive high into the net, once again beating McLeod.
STEVEN COOK completed the Gowfers scoring after coming back onto the park when he replaced Garry McLaughlin, with a shot across the face of the goal, which nestled into the goalkeepers bottom right hand side of the net.
