JUNIORS BEAT AMATEURS FOR SIX APPEAL

Panmure kicked-off and had all the early pressure. The first attempt at goal came from Hall, whose long-range strike was well-saved by the YM 'keeper at his right-hand post. Masson was then put right through and tried to go round the 'keeper, who did well to nip the ball off the advancing player's toes.In 16 minutes, a shot by Hall from the edge of the box was deflected for a corner on the right. Masson's flag kick was nodded down by Thompson to Reilly, whose cross was powerfully headed home by CUMMING from six yards, giving the 'keeper no chance.
Just five minutes later, the Gowfers went two up. Masson, on the right, fed Reilly, who first-timed the ball across the box to the far post where HALL rounded the 'keeper and shot home into the empty net.
Just on half-time, a Masson corner from the left was only partially cleared. Smith headed the ball back in, but found Cumming in an offside position.

Panmure made two changes for the second half, Jamieson replacing McCafferty in goal, and Clark coming on for Hall.The Gowfers again made the stronger start and notched a third counter just three minutes after the restart. Masson took a short corner on the right to CLARK, who cut along the edge of the box before firing a left-foot rocket high into the net, giving the 'keeper no chance.
In 53 minutes, Cook caught the YM defence square with a high ball over their heads to REILLY, who then lobbed the advancing 'keeper to put Panmure four up and coasting.
Five minutes later, a piercing run by Clark carved open the YM defence once more. He then squared the ball to COOK, who fired low past the 'keeper from 12 yards for number five.
Urquhart received a pass up the left from Smith and squared the ball across the box to the unmarked MURRAY, who fired home from 12 yards.
Urquhart and Reilly both came close late in the game, but at the final whistle Panmure had to be content with giving YM six of the best.
