A View From The Dugout – Brechin Vics Away

For the first five minutes I thought Brechin came out the blocks sharp and looked dangerous, after that period we settled on the ball and grew in confidence, with some fantastic phases of play leading to us creating chances, the press was good and rewarded when Goggs put superb pressure on the Brechin back line, stealing ball and Dale doing what he does best.

The second goal again was great work in good areas and Goggs getting into great area to get decisive touch .

The third goal came from a swift counter and again Dale “goals” Reid in the right area to punish.

Our half time message was clear same as first half, however that proved not to be case we lacked intensity and could have been punished had Brechin found better deliveries and us having Bailey Steel leading by example.

One great passage of play nearly led to a goal from Dan but it just missed by a yard or so.

The 3 points is what was asked for and that’s what we got.

But there was some stern words at full time to remind team of what I expect and a reminder that games are 90 mins.

Thank you for your support today and we hope to see you on Wednesday night”
