The draw for the Third Round of the Scottish Junior Cup has paired Carnoustie Panmure with Glasgow side Petershill FC in a repeat of last seasons clash at the same stage, Last season, Petershill won 1-0 at McKenna Park, the home of St Anthony’s FC in a tight contest but with this years tie being at Laing Park, The Gowfers will be look to avenge that defeat.
General Manager Mark Johnson said ” Its a tough tie, Petershill are flying high in the Super League Division One over in the West having won eight from nine games so will probably be even tougher than they were last season. However, this is the Scottish Junior Cup and we are out for revenge for last year on our own patch so who knows.”
The tie takes place on Saturday November 25th with a 1.45 kick off
