Yesterday saw the latest update from the Joint Response Group regarding the return to football.
Overall it was good news, with the start of friendlies being effectively rubber stamped from September 12th, however, as it stands these will be behind closed doors certainly initially.
There are also questions regarding the provision of dressing rooms with showers being unavailable. If you ask our players then this is not a problem however, these issues have been rightly highlighted by other clubs and will be the basis of questions to be asked on Tuesday evening when East and North Region clubs will meet with Scottish FA CEO Ian Maxwell.
It is anticipated that supporters will be allowed back soon, however, there are protocols that need to be adhered to and changes made at Laing Park and these will be announced in due course. Part of the protocol is the publishing of a risk assessment on our website and it is hoped that this will be available next week.
In the meantime, please bare with us, it is a fast moving situation that changes on an almost daily basis and we are working behind the scenes to accommodate the changes.
