It’s been a busy week for Carnoustie with some transfer news.
Outgoing.
Ryan Roche who served the club well over the last 8 years. Ryan in the last 4 years had been club captain and found a real consistency in performances and games and had recovered from serious knee injuries prior. Ryan played a huge part in the back to back league wins and Thorntons cup success. Ryan has been a great servant to the club and had expressed his desire to seek new challenges in his football. Ryan has now completed his transfer to St Andrews Utd in the East of Scotland First Division.
We wish Ryan every success and look forwards to seeing him at Laing park in the future. 
Incoming Transfer News.
Kai Cooper comes in as a central defender from St Andrews Utd. Kai is equally comfortable across the back line and adds competition to the defensive line with his pace, strength and height.
Greg Houston – Forward comes in from Dundee Violet, with a few teams chasing Greg we were delighted to add some experience to the attacking areas of the pitch.
Lewis McKelvie – GK we have acquired the services of Lewis on loan from Dundee FC. Lewis is well thought of at Dundee FC.
All players will be added to the match day squad for tomorrow’s season opener at home to Kirriemuir Thistle.
It’s been a busy period for the club with Paddy stepping into management and the recruitment of the other new players who have joined recently.
