Saturdays 5-2 defeat to Broxburn Athletic was certainly not our finest moment, with the performance in the first half not nearly good enough and we got what we deserved sadly.
A mixture of bad decision making, poor defending and good finishing by Broxburn saw us come in at half time 5-2 down. There were more than a few raised voices and strong words said in the dressing room during half time, some of which I can’t repeat, however, I told the boys that the only way we could restore any sort of pride and dignity for the club was not to concede another goal. Credit to the boys they raised their game in the 2nd half and we did not concede however the damage was done during the first 45 minutes.
The dip in form has come at the wrong stage of the season for us and the frustrating part for me, is the nature of the performances. We have looked sloppy in the last 4 games, which is disappointing, however, we won’t be going into our shells or looking for excuses. The boys know that have let their strong start to the season slip away but we have 8 games left and  we’ll be doing everything we can to turn things around and move away from the danger area, to a position where I believe we should be.
