Dale Reid scored a hat trick of headers as Carnoustie beat Dundee St James at Laing Park.
The Gowfers other goals came from Connor Coupe with a double, Ryan Dignan, Jamie Winter and Steven McPhee while Bruce Hearn was sent off for two bookings.
