GOWFERS JOIN WITH LOCAL RNLI STATIONS

We are delighted to announce that we are adding the RNLI stations at Broughty Ferry and Arbroath as charity partners of Carnoustie Panmure.

As a club we have been actively behind campaigns to raise awareness of mental health illness in the Tayside and Angus area and both lifeboat
stations are often called out to support the other emergency services when dealing with individuals suffering with a crisis, alongside
protecting those using the coastal waters of the area.

In Carnoustie, we are located right in the middle of Broughty Ferry and Arbroath and we will be actively supporting the fund raising efforts of
both stations and raising awareness of their work keeping people safe on the water.

Mo Morrison from the Arbroath Station said “Arbroath Lifeboat and Fundraising Guild are delighted to be invited, along with our fellow Lifeboat friends at Broughty Ferry, as  Charity partners with Carnoustie Panmure Football Club.

Carnoustie is situated half way between both stations, and it was thought fitting both Lifeboats should benefit from the fundraising efforts of the Club. We greatly appreciate this. We are both very busy stations, and over the past few years it has been quite difficult on the fundraising side, mainly due to horrid Covid. So thank you Carnoustie Panmure. You are the best!”

We will have some exciting news about how we will be working together in the next few weeks
