As in other years, we will be supporting the Angus Spirit of Christmas campaign with the help of goalkeeper, Jamie Robbie and we will start collecting gifts this weekend.
Angus Spirit of Christmas is staffed by volunteers to aid underprivileged children by providing a Christmas gift to those children living in hardship and poverty in Angus. The appeal was launched during Christmas 2015 to provide gifts for children living locally. Working with Social Work, Throughcare and Aftercare, Woman’s Aid, Children’s Services and other local organisations the volunteers co-ordinate Christmas gifts for Children and Young People in the Care/Social work system. Last year over 300 parcels were delivered to some of the most deprived and vulnerable youngers in our area and surrounding towns.
How it works;
You do something amazing by buying a Christmas
gift for someone out of kindness
Gift ideas –
Cosy socks/sweets/smellies/chocolates/games/little

Please put all items (unwrapped for security reasons) into open gift bags
NOTE: we are collecting hats, scarves and gloves sets (as an addition to the parcels) if you wish to buy and donate these also they be appreciated. These are given to children who have none.
We will collect the gift bags at this Saturdays game against Troon and at training on Tuesday 27th Nov 8pm – 9.30pm & Thursday 29th Nov 6.30 – 8pm.
Jamie will then pass everything collected on to the volunteers.
