John Roberts has been rewarded with a new contract after fighting back from an injury that has kept him out for most of the 2016/17 season and threatened his career.
The midfielder has suffered with a serious groin injury that didn’t respond to treatment but against Bonnyrigg Rose he began to look like the JR of old.
The manager said “JR is my “midfield general, the way he has fought back from injury is a credit to him and stands out as an example of not giving up. Its been a long road and at times not an easy one for him but he is back. After he has got a full pre-season inside him then he will be ready to hit the ground running when we start the league campaign in August.”
