Carnoustie Manager Alan McSkimming will have one less thing to worry about as he prepares for this weekends game at Laing Park against Camelon with the return of Luke McGeehan to his squad. The Irishman has been back across the water continuing his studies but returned to training this weekend and comes straight in to contention.

The Gowfers go in to the game in buoyant mood following three victories on the bounce against Broxburn, Forfar West End and Newtongrange but McSkimming will take nothing for granted as he prepares for the visit of Gordon Herd’s Mariners. McSkimming said “Camelon have had a steady start with two wins from five games so we know that we will have to continue our rich vein of form if we want to take all three points”

McSkimming is delighted to have McGeehan back but still has Robert Urquhart, Steven Cook and Liam Scott out while Ryan Roche went under the knife on Thursday so sort out his recurring knee problems.

The sides will be led out by Richard Nicoll on Saturday, Richard, a passionate Gowfers fan has just returned from the Special Olympics National Games in Sheffield with a Bronze, Silver and Gold medal.
