Carnoustie Panmure FC and Montrose FC have completed the transfer of Craig Batchelor which will see the striker step up to League 1 and the Senior Game. Craig joined us after a very impressive first part of the season at Kirriemuir under the stewardship of Co Managers McNally & Duell. Craig helped secure Carnoustie Back to Back League Championship with some important goals towards the end of the season and with Montrose FC monitoring his development.
As a club we will always look to promote players to a higher level in the Senior Game and when this opportunity came along and with discussions with Craig and Stewart Petrie at Montrose it was agreed this opportunity was in the interests of personal development for the player.
We wish Craig all the very best on his new chapter at Montrose FC and he will always be a welcome visitor to Laing Park
